HCG Diet is the newest and fastest way of losing weight nowadays. With just one shot of the hormone per day and a strict adherence to the low calorie diet, you can achieve the weight loss that you have been dreaming to attain.

However, the fast and easy way of HCG injections does not mean you can do it any way you want to. There is a certain protocol on how you should mix the injections. It has to be based on the prescribed preparation to make sure you receive the right and sterile amount of the hormone.

HCG Injection Dosage
According to the preparation of the original HCG diet protocol, there has to be 175 i.u. of daily dose. You will need 30 cc of sterile water for mixture wit 175 i.u. of HCG. However, this may vary depending on your health care provider.

Materials needed
Before any procedure, you should be able to prepare first all the necessary stuff prior to injection. In using the HCG injections, you have to prepare the HCG powdered concentrate, sterile water for injection, syringes for mixing wit replacement needles, alcohol pads and a sterile glass vial.

When you purpose the HCG powdered concentrates there an ampule ready for mixture however, it will not be enough. You will need a larger vial of sterile water and you can buy this on any local pharmacies or medical supply stores.

Mixing Procedure
200 i.u. HCG injections using 5000 i.u. ampule of HCG

1. Prepare the shots is a very sterile environment which has been cleaned with bleach and left for air dry. Materials should be placed on a sterile surface and hands should be washed with anti-bacterial soap and dried after with paper towels.
2. In opening the glass ampule of the HCG powder concentrate, the top part should be disinfected with alcohol using a one swipe motion. After that, the top should be snapped away from the body with the use of an inside-out alcohol pad wrapper for protection.
3. Disinfect the rubber top of the 30 cc bacteriostatic water vial using a new alcohol pad. Once dry, use a 30cc syringe to withdraw 25 cc of sterile water. Replace the needle after withdrawing from the vial.
4. Incorporate 1 cc of the sterile water into the HCG ampule by slowly inserting the needle without touching the side of the glass. Allow the powder to dissolve by gently swirling the vial but never shake it.
5. The 24 cc left of the sterile water should then be injected into the new glass vial.
6. After the HCG hormone has been dissolved, get a new 3 cc syringe and withdraw the 1 cc of HCG. Replace the needle after.
7. Disinfect the new glass vial with a new alcohol pad and inject the 1 cc HCG into the new sterile glass vial containing the 24 cc sterile water.
8. Now you have 25 doses of 1 cc or 1 ml of HCG dose. You will have to withdraw 1cc of the new mixture using new 3 cc syringe on your every injection which provides you with 200 i.u. dose

175 i.u. HCG injections using 5000 i.u. ampule of HCG
For 175 i.u. of HCG, you follow the same procedure however; you will use 28.5 cc of sterile water instead of 25. This will give you 28 doses of 1 ml HCG dose. You will still get 1 ml for every injection using 3 cc syringe.

175 i.u. HCG injection using 1500 i.u. ampule of HCG
You will follow the same steps in mixing but you will just get 8.5 cc of sterile water instead of 25. This comes up with 8 doses for 1 ml of HCG dose. As usual, you use 3 cc syringe in every 1 cc of HCG for injection.

200 i.u. HCG injection using 1500 i.u. ampule of HCG
The process is exactly the same with the others only that you will get 7.5 cc of sterile water rather than 25. This results in 7 doses of 1 ml HCG each. Again, you just withdraw 1 cc of HCG using 3 cc syringe in your every injection.

Syringe to be used for Injection
The needle that should be used for injection onto the skin should be different from the one you used for preparation and mixing. Therefore, you have to replace the needles. The needles should be very small. Usually, gauge 29, ½ inch needle is considered more comfortable and less painful for use. Others would prefer gauge 25 with 1 inch needle for intramuscular injection. Make sure that you use a new needle every time you give yourself a shot. Never reuse them for sterility purposes.
