HCG Diet Apple Crisp Print E-mail

The Filling part:
  • 1 apple of your choice
  • half of a small lemon
  • 1 T water
  • 2 t Stevia and cinnamon
  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Then peel and cut your apple to prepare it.
  3. Place apples pieces into a smaller baking dish.
  4. Cover the apple with the lemon juice, Stevia, water, and few dashes of cinnamon. Then toss and mix it together.

Topping Part:

  • 1 grissini bread stick
  • 1 t Skim milk
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 t nutmeg
  • 1/4 t pumpkin pie spice
  1. Grind the grissini into powder using a food processor, blender or coffee grinder.
  2. Add the skim milk in 1/4 t portions. Stir it slowly until the mixture turns into a somewhat moist and flaky topping.
  3. Sprinkle it on top of the apple filling.

Bake:

  1. Cover your dish and bake for about 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the cover and broil it for about 1-2 minutes to make the topping crisp.
  3. Serve as soon as it comes out.

NOTE: This dish is one of my favorites and really tastes like apple pie! Make sure to note the ingredients and realize that it can be servings of your grissini. You can skip the grissini if you don't want to use up your grissini serving for the day.
