    Question grabbed some broccoli today

    Hi all

    This week is my first week on phase 2. I grabbed some broccoli today but then got home and realized that this is not on the vegetable list of HCG diet. I wonder why broccoli not on the list.

    Can we really not eat broccoli? Will this cause weight gain?

    It's just another one of those veggies that's been tested and doesn't help with losses. I know that I do eat it on maintenance though and it seems fine.

    The brand of homeopathic HCG that I am using says that broccoli is an acceptable vegetable. It's the only veggie that I've been eating since I started and I've lost 6lbs so far (not counting whatever couple of lbs I gained during my load days). I started Monday morning at 140, loaded for 2 days, did not weigh myself after those 2 days and now on Sunday I am at 134.

    Marjie: How about trying to stay off the broccoli for a few days and then see what you could lose? It's just a suggestion though so don't be upset but I know that while on the drops if I had broccoli then I would have a small gain, it would go but it always seems to slow the losses.
