Unhappy Epic FAIL...HELP!!!! Words of wisdom needed.

Hi all. So, I was super excited to start this protocol and I began giving myself injections on my first loading day last Monday. Switched over to vlcd 2 days later and followed it to a T. By Friday I had already started to cheat! I have been hungry. Really really hungry. And my doctor tells me that I shouldn't feel hunger past the 2nd day of vlcd. The only thing I can figure is that I have not been giving myself the correct amount of hcg when I did my injections. I had trouble getting the correct amount into the syringe because of the air bubbles, and although I am a smart girl I could not get the hang of it I tell you! I have had days where I can make it through until lunch but when dinner rolls around BAM! I am in the car on the way to get fast food. This has been a HORRIBLE experience so far for me, and I'm really bummed about it. I convinced my doctor to let me change over to sublingual drops, which I am starting tomorrow morning, and I sincerely hope it makes a difference in the amount of hunger I experience going forward. Hopefully it will be none.

Because I have hcg in my system, I am assuming I should not start all over again? I am planning on following vlcd for the next 30 days, then go to phase 3, then back to phase 2 again because of the amount of weight I need to lose. If this is wrong or not a good idea, please let me know.

And please please do NOT tell me not to do this diet until I am absolutely ready, because I am. If it wasn't for feeling ravenously hungry every day I never would have strayed. I am desperate to get back on track and lose my weight. I just need some words of encouragement. TIA.

Since I am not familiar with the injections I can only speak of the drops. I noticed a slight craving in the first week but am now on my 27th day and it has subsided. At times I have to force myself to eat the fruits as I am not really hungry. I have to admist there are still times that I do get a craving but I tell myself that I am not hungry; just need some water or tea and it helps. Maybe once you start on the drops you will notice a decrease in your cravings. Hang in there!!! It is woth it in the end.

So you don't want me to say that you're not ready? It sounds like you're trying really hard and over analyzing this. If you could try to spread your food out then maybe you wouldn't be running out for fast food. Did you run out for food normally? If you did then it's a habit of the mind and not of the stomach and yes, this is a hard thing to break but I know you can do it. Once the cravings for those foods is behind you then you will do wonderfully. I have to admit that I would have a hard time in doing injections myself but I have done the Bernstein diet where they inject into your belly and give you B12 as well, was really hard to crack the cravings and stick to the low cal diet and I didn't succeed. When I was under my own control of the sublingual drops then I felt better. I did have a fruit for breakfast and normal lunch without fruit, dinner without fruit and then fruit at night around 8pm. This really did help me since I felt like I had food all day, drinking water and tea in between and it worked. You CAN do this. When you start your second round after maintenance, don't forget to do the 2 loading days again to get the HCG back into your system and all will run well. Good luck and stick to it!!

I am happy to say I am doing great now that I switched to the drops. What a difference! No cheats or extreme hunger anymore and I am sticking to the protocol no problem. Glad to be losing weight again! As of today I have 30 more days until I do Phase 3 for a few weeks, then back to Phase 2 again!!! Thanks for the encouragement; you're right...I CAN do this!
