I had my first weigh in today and I lost 6 pounds. I showed my food log to the nurse and she told me to cut out shrimp, asparagus & broth. I can't find anywhere that says asparagus will interfere with weight loss. Shrimp is not ok, but lobster & crab are? She said it is the cholesterol level. I get that some broths are bad but I found an organic, low sodium, sugar free broth. They told me not to eat the melba toast before I started, so I have cut those recipes out that call for them. I don't want to slow down my weight loss, so I will do what I need to do, but these foods were in the medical book I got from them. What has anyone heard from their doctor or nurse? Thanks so much!!!
